Hallow's Eve's Eve!
29 Oct 2013, 01:13 PM
ello again, fellow Patchees! Boils and Ghouls!
It's been a while, hasn't it? So much news has been flying past, and now it's time to catch up!
Better late than never, right?
Firstly, all of us here on The Pumpkin Patch would like to wish Tim Burton a belated, but nonetheless happy 55th Birthday! We hope you had a truly spooktacular day!
Now, for all of you who commented on the "Big Eyes" update, you'll be excited to know that the film in question is being filmed now, in Vancouver, and stars the likes of Christopher Schwartz and Amy Adams! The film is intended for release sometime in the 2014.
In further belated news, the Burton/Elfman concert that took London by storm has traveled to the US, and is currently playing live in L.A! If any of our Angelenos readers are interested, they'll be continuing to play there until the 31st of October! That's right, Halloween! Now, wouldn't that be a way to celebrate?
And in conclusion of the news, we'd like to wish an even happier birthday to our beloved Nightmare Before Christmas, which celebrated it's twentieth anniversary earlier this month! Tim Burton even gave us this address in order to celebrate the occasion!
And now, we round off this update with a Patchee favourite... The Halloween Contest!
Now, we're sure you're used to the format of a carving contest, and a costume contest, but this year we've decided to... mix it up a bit!
This year's theme is "This is Halloween", and you can submit any photo that falls into that category! That includes costumes, pumpkin carvings... anything you can think of, really!
And as always, you can submit your entries to: email@example.com! We look forward to seeing your wonderful entries! So get them in, whilst you can! The contest will stop taking entries on November 10th. Update: please don't forget to include a piece of paper in the photo that says "TNBC.eu 2013"
And with that said, there's nothing left to do but wish you all a Happy Halloween! Scare up a storm, Patchees! Stay creepy!
Hey there, Big Eyes!

ello once again, my dear little Patchees! The clock has been turning, the seasons, changing, and Tim Burton news, moving as always!
We haven't seen each other since March, have we? And since then, our dear Mr. Burton has been very busy!
July is only a couple of days away, now, and with it begins the filming of Tim Burton's newly announced film, Big Eyes, a biographical drama following the heated divorce of Walter and Margaret Keane.
Margaret, the artist whom created the famous "Big Eyed Waif" paintings, and Walter, the man who claimed all the credit for her work!
The film boasts such talents as Christopher Waltz, Amy Adams and Danny Huston, and it's theorised to be ready for release in late 2014. Have fun, Tim! We here at The Pumpkin Patch think it'll be great!
On a sadder note, our lovely directors, Guillermo Del Toro and Tim Burton, are no longer working on Pinocchio with one another anymore.
Tim has left the project, no doubt in order to direct 'Big Eyes', although the film is still set to be produced regardless, in case any of you still fancy going to watch it!
And that looks like it for today, my little monsters!
What do you think? Will you go to see Pinocchio regardless? And how excited are you for Big Eyes, which is a step away from Tim's usual genres?
Comment, and tell us!
Until next time, this has been Celestion, and you have been a wonderful reader. Goodbye Patchees, stay spooky!
Our favourite part of TNBC? Well, it's no contest...

ello again, Patchees! Celestion here with another Pumpkin Patch update!
My, how fortunate we Tim Burton fans are lately! With so many films released in 2012, and Beetlejuice 2 on it's way, we've hardly known what to do with ourselves! And of course, those lucky enough to be in London will be able to attend Danny Elfman, live!
But don't worry, those of you who, for one reason or another, can't attend! We've got a little treat for you, instead! (No tricks, we promise!) It just so happens that yesterday, we received an email from NECA, with the following!
My name is Scott and I work for the National Entertainment & Collectibles Association (NECA), one of the world leaders in high end toys and collectibles manufacturing.
We have been working in conjunction with HollywoodVideo.com providing prizes for their weekly contests and giveaways. This week we’re featuring a set of Nightmare Before Christmas trading cards and signed lithographs, and we think this would be a great opportunity for your fans and community to enter and win. The weekly contests are free to enter, and winners are chosen at random.
We have provided the following link should you like to inform your readers of the contest.
Thank you for your time, and keep up the excellent work!
NECA Social Team
That's right! A contest, to win autographed TNBC merchandise! And who says Christmas can't come early? So go ahead and join, Patchees! Before your time runs out!
Speaking of time running out, it looks like this update is coming to it's end! So on behalf of the Pumpkin Patch staff, we'd like to thank Scott K, and all of NECA, for giving us this chance! Be sure to comment and tell us what you think, and whether you'll be joining in!
Until next time, Patchees! Stay scary!
Your prescribed dosage of Burton
07 Mar 2013, 01:28 AM
ello again, fellow Patchees! Oh dear, has it been that long already since we last gave you wonderful little monsters an update?
We'll have to fix that right away, won't we?
Because the staff here at The Pumpkin Patch know how much you love to hear about dear old Tim's recent work!
Speaking of hearing about work, I'm sure all of you'll be thrilled to learn that in October of this year, Danny Elfman will be playing music from Tim Burton films live!
That's right, Patchees! Those of you fortunate enough to live in London could very well attend a live Danny Elfman performance, where he'll be playing your favourite songs, from your favourite movies!
And for those of you who can't make the performance (Much like myself...), don't worry!
Tim Burton has also recently appeared in an advertisement for Samsung, so you can still get your daily fix of Tim Burton being strange!
As always, Tim has us covered!
Oh my, is that the time? It looks like I have to say goodbye again, Patchees! But don't stray too far, now, because we'll be back soon with more Burton news!
Don't forget to comment, and tell us if you're lucky enough to attend the concert! Remember to keep your undead dogs on their leashes, and until next time, goodbye!
Happy Boo Year!

ello, fellow Patchees! Oh my, how you have all grown! It feels like a whole New Year has passed between this update and the last! So, boils and ghouls, how did you all spend your New Year, having survived the apocalypse?
Please, comment and tell us!
Ah, and what a year it's going to be! The very unlucky year of 2013 looks to be quite bright, for us loyal Tim Burton fanatics! For example, somebody has clearly been saying Beetlejuice's name again, as this October, he's returning with a vengeance! So lock away your daughters, and expect to see more of Tim's crazy, crotch grabbing poltergeist very soon!
Speaking of classics, it doesn't end there! It seems that good old Tim, and resident stark-pot Robert Downey Jr. are both eyeing a Gothic retelling of Pinocchio with great interest! The two would be joining forces with famous dark fantasy director Guillermo del Toro, a director I'm sure you're all familiar with from films such as Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, which could make for some pretty amazing visuals in the film!
And for all of you gamers out there, don't despair! In 2014, we can expect Tim Burton and popular games developer Valve to be producing Shane Acker's Deep, a story about a nuclear submarine captain by the name of Sullivan, whom is living in the fallout of WWIII, not too dissimilar from Tim Burton's 9 (which was, interestingly enough, based off of Acker's animated short.) Sadly, there isn't too much information on that particular subject right now, but we here at The Pumpkin Patch will be sure to keep you updated!
And now, I must take my leave! Don't forget to comment, and tell us what you little monsters got up to for New Year! Goodbye!
