here is a place. Like no place on Earth. Some say to survive it you need to be as mad as a hatter, which luckily I am...
Yes! Everyone can cheer now because Alice in Wonderland has final hit the movie theaters today!
"I love a warm pig belly for my aching feet."
To celebrate this, we are going to do fan art awards for Alice in Wonderland related pictures. This will take place after the Sweeny Todd awards (see below) which from this day is 8 days from being over. So get those pencils and crayons out and start your creating juices!
"Off with her head!"
Alright then! Hope all of you have a fun time seeing the new Alice in Wonderland and if you can definitly go and see it in 3D!
"You are Alice. I'd know you anywhere."

im Burton is up to his dark ways again! Tim says he is to start the remaking of Disney's classic Sleeping Beauty. This is rumored to start into production soon after the release of Alice in Wonderland later on this year.
Tim also wants to incorporate some 3D effects into the movie as well. He said: “I like the 3-D aspect of it, I think it fits the material very well, and it doesn’t give me a headache like it used to. I think it’s good for anything. There are other uses than having spears stuck into your face - I think there are more visceral, emotional uses, especially if you use lots of textures.”
Ken Page, our beloved Oogie Boogie man, is going to star in a new movie Prep School releasing in 2010. The story is of weary professors, stressed and scared boys, secrets, deception, control, suppression, vengeance and an inevitable anarchy all add to an air of uncertainty and danger for a prestigious preparatory school.
Can you believe that Paul Reubens is in another Pee Wee movie? The voice of Lock continues his career with the new movie Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Movie to come out in 2011.
Voice of Emily in Corpse Bride, Helena Bonham Carter, as you may have heard comes back into the movie world with not only Alice in Wonderland but in the next two Harry Potter movies as Bellatrix Lestrange. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2. "I killed Sirius Black!"
Voice of Victoria in Corpse Bride, Emily Watson, stars in the new movie Cemetery Junction, a 1970s-set comedy centered on three upstart professional men working at an insurance company.
And last but not least, Johnny Depp stars in not only Alice in Wonderland but in Disney's forth Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as Captain Jack Sparrow. Actaully Johnny has taken on five different movies in production right now not including Alice in Wonderland.
Well that concludes my undead gossip of hollywood. May you all ponder this for a while. *departs with a fancy bow*.

t's Christmas Time!
How horrible our Christmas will be... No! How jolly our Christmas will be!
Merry Christmas, Patchees! I hope you guys haven't been too naughty this year... And be sure to set out some cookies and milk for Sandy Claws! Whether you spend Christmas with your friends and family or spend the day watching TNBC over and over again until the movie stops working, there's still something everyone can agree on. 'Tis the season of giving. And who better to acknowledge than Tim Burton. From Edward Scissorhands to Corpse Bride, he's given us so many amazing and influential movies over the years.
Starting as just a poem, The Nightmare Before Christmas slowly evolved into one of the most astonishingly original stop motion films in the industry. It's become a film we all know and truly love. As with Jack, we're all trying to find the meaning of Christmas, and wanting to bring something great to our friends and family. Hopefully this holiday season brings out the best in everyone and allows you to get involved in the act of giving.
So, from all of us at the Pumpkin Patch, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Now onto Fan Submissions. There have been a few concerns regarding submissions and hopefully the information below will clear a few things up.
Fan Art: All Fan Art must be related to TNBC or Tim Burton's other works (TBOW from now on ) and must be of your own work. If you upload art that isn't yours, you must get permission from the original artist(s) before it can be approved. Pre-made cartoon dolls will no longer be considered fan art and cannot be approved. If a fan art belongs to a Fan Fiction on this site, you must place the 4 digit ID number in the ID box when uploading art. You can find the ID number in the URL by scrolling over the name of the fanfic.
Fan Fictions: Fan Fictions must be related to TNBC or "TBOW". Fanfics and fanfics with fan characters that are not related to TNBC, will not be accepted.
Fan Videos: Fan Videos must also be related to TNBC or "TBOW". Videos that feature artwork, must have permission from the original artist(s) before it can be approved. Videos with fan characters must be related to TNBC or they too, cannot be approved.
If anyone has any questions regarding fan submissions, please feel free to PM me or any of the other staff members and we'd be happy to help!
That's all for now, so Happy Holidays from the Pumpkin Patch Staff.

ello all! Well it's defenitly half way to Christmas. Can't wait for all the presents under the tree, the stockings by the fire, the eggnog fountain...
I'm getting ahead of myself!
So the big news with Tim Burton lately:
It is said that our man Tim is taking on a new movie based off the TV show Dark Shadows, which should begin shooting next fall. The show was originally a daytime soap opera on ABC back in the 1960's, with supernatural elements to it, including vampires.
This film will include the classic team up of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, who plays the vampire Barnabis Collins. No word yet on who will star as Angelique yet but when I find out, it will be posted here.
Danny Elfman:
Danny Elfman has been busy lately with the composure for the new movie Alice in Wonderland as well as releasing more great music to the world through the new sci-fi movie Terminator Salvation. He is in the pre-production phase of the Forbidden Zone 2: The Forbidden Galaxy.
Well there you have it! A small wrap up of the world of Tim Burton and Danny Elfman. Happy Holidays!

Our lovely... Corpse, I mean, Tim Burton

ell, well, well the time for Thanksgiving is almost upon us, and who is one of the many people we have to give thanks to is our lovely Tim Burton. So here's some news for you:
Tim Burton has been granted an exhibit at The Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan, which began November 22 of 2009 and continues to April 26 of 2010. It features art from ours truley Tim Burton from all his movies and other works as well, celebrating his impact on this generation, generations before, generations to come, and art.
MoMA explains, "This exhibition explores the full range of his creative work, tracing the current of his visual imagination from early childhood drawings through his mature work in film. It brings together over seven hundred examples of rarely or never-before-seen drawings, paintings, photographs, moving image works, concept art, storyboards, puppets, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera from such films as Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Mars Attacks!, Ed Wood, and Beetlejuice, and from unrealized and little-known personal projects that reveal his talent as an artist, illustrator, photographer, and writer working in the spirit of Pop Surrealism."
Here you can view slideshows and buy tickets into the exhibit. As well as the creepy music the occupanies the site, it also gives a personal biography video for Tim Burton and a good slice of text of a portion of his creative life.
There you have it! Hopefully you guys in Manhattan enjoy the exhibit!
