And finally, everything worked out just fine
Halloween Town was saved, though there wasn't much time
But, after that night, things were never the same
Jack and Sally gave their children their names
And though that one night, things got a little bit weird
I'm still rather fond of that skeleton man you heard
So, a few days later I thought I'd come by
And there was old Jack, still looking quite thin
With his four skeleton sons and his three ragdoll daughters
The sons looked alot like their father and two of the gilrs like their mother
And I asked old Jack, "Do you remember the night
When the sky was so dark, and the moon shone so bright?
When a million angry mothers trying to get revenge
Nearly didn't have the courage to do at all, so to speak?
And wouldn't, if you have trusted me way back
To that long fateful night? Now, think carefully, Jack
Would you do the whole thing all over again to the future creator?
Knowing what you know now, knowing what you knew then?"
And he smiled like the old Pumpkin King that I knew
Then turned, and asked softly of me... "Wouldn't you if you were a creation like me?"
