“Johanna, please, listen. Its very shocking to hear but it isn’t as bad as it sounds.”
“I don’t understand, Anthony…he’s a murderer. How is that not as bad as it sounds?”
“He did everything for a reason, Johanna. All of his murders.”
“What reason did he have, Anthony?” She looked him in the eyes, looking to hear answers to make her understand.
Anthony began explaining everything to her. Everything Anthony was told. Starting from the beginning with judge Turpin, to the murders of Mrs. Lovett and Mr. Todd and ended it with how they ended up alive. Johanna sat there speechless for a moment. The barber was her blood father. She now began to understand most everything.
“Johanna. I had not realized he had never seen you before apart from you being a small baby. He has back his eldest daughter. Seeing you would make him relatively happy. As well as your sister. Perhaps sometime I could bring you to him.”
Johanna was still quiet. She then nodded her head in agreement. “Yes.” She gave a light smile.
--Back in the pie shop --
The day was ending. Mrs. Lovett had closed up her shop, then went up to Sweeney’s once she was done. Sandi had been helping her father clean up the shop.
“Good evening, Mr. T. and good evening Sandi,” Mrs. Lovett greeted.
Sandi looked up and gave a small smile. “Good evening, Mrs. Lovett.”
She looked to Sandi. “Look at your hair, Sandi!” she exclaimed walking towards her. “It looks very beautiful.”
“You think so?” Sandi giggled lightly.
Sweeney had walked towards the window looking out of it. His usual glare had gotten darker. Mrs. Lovett noticed the change in his look.
“Mr. T? Is something the matter?”
Sweeney clutched his hands into fists and muttered “The boy…”
Both Mrs. Lovett and Sandi quickly got to the window to see what Sweeney had seen. Sandi and Mrs. Lovett then noticed, Toby, who was walking towards the shop as they spoke.
Mrs. Lovett’s eyes widened lightly “What is he doing here…? This can’t be very good.”
Toby approached the shop and entered. Mrs., Lovett quickly made her way down to great him. Sandi followed her down.
“Ma’am! You’re alive! Why are you still here ma’am? Mr. Todd is a bad man we need to get out now!”
“Calm Toby. Mr. Todd is no bad-”
“He was killing people and putting them into your meat pies, ma’am!”
“Toby you aren’t understanding what’s-”
At the moment, Sweeney entered the shop himself.
“Mr. Todd! You shouldn’t even be alive! You are a murderer and you killed Mrs. Lovett!” Toby exclaimed.
This was true. It did seem like Toby didn’t understand what was going on.
He wasn’t much aware of Mrs. Lovett was aware of the secret meat pie ingredient.
Hey everyone. Here is another crappy chapter~ I am thinking about abandoning this story. It really depends on how many people are still into it
