The next day the entire town had gathered around the ashes of the Van Dort estate. There were whispers of who might have doen such a thing, and they were all baffled in the end. Victoria cried, knowing that Victor had been in there.
Soon the skeleton was found. And Victoria insisted he be placed in the suit he was going to marry her in. The funeral was silent, no one able to say a word from either sadness or the shock of how he died. Although many tears were shed for him, Victoria was the one to shed the most tears. As he died so young...His life was taken from him by some murderer. In which put the town into a panic as well.
In the Everglot place, Victoria was weeping hard over the loss of Victor. While her parents continued to argue over what to do about it, "Finis! What if this horrid murderer comes for us next?! What are we to do?!" Maudeline spazzed. "FETCH ME MUSKET!" Finis demanded, but was soon stopped, "THAT FOOLISH MUSKET ISN'T POSSIBLY THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS!" and soon they found themselves into an all-out brawl.
Victoria sighed at the sound of their arguments. They wouldn't even give him a moment of silence? She looked over at them, her eyes still filled with tears, "PLEASE! I BEG YOU! JUST ALLOW HIM A SINGLE MOMENT OF SILENCE!" and she ran off into her room, the tears streaming down her face as she whispered silently to herself, "Victor.....Please wait for me in the Land of the Dead..." as she couldn't bring herself to suicide. But loved Victor always.
Meanwhile Victor opened his eyes...Well his eye sockets as they were now, "Where am I?" he asked silently, but jumped at the sound of his voice..It was...Different now...Looking around he saw he was in a graveyard...In a grave that had seemed to had been dug up. Holding his skull, he tried to recall all that happened. It was all fuzzy, he remembered a fire and nothing else.
Once again, Victor looked around. As he stood up, he tried calling. But no one answered. He looked back and fourth, walking around, and he soon spotted something, a town up ahead. He smiled a bony grin as he made his way twords the town, as soon as he reached the gate, he was stopped by a gate keeper, "Hault! State your name and your buisness here!" he thought hard....What was his name? He tried and triedto remember, until he did, "My name is Victor Van Dort." the gatekeeper smiled, "Oh VICTOR! Our new arrival! Pleasure to meet you!" he stopped, "Hmmm....But Victor doesn't seem quite a right name for you..." Victor raised an eye ashe gate keeper smiled, saying what would change the town forever.
"You name should be Jack. Jack Skellington!"
